I have finished the entire job creation flow in the local development app. The total number of steps for Upwork’s job creation is seven, which is the same as what I have coded. Lemon.io’s steps total nine.
Even nine steps are not enough these days, since the entire IT industry has expanded, and there are so many details related to human expertise and the industry itself.
My greatest concern is users who do not know what they need for their dream to come true. At every step in the job creation process, they will wonder about the standard and the additional context of what they require. This is a bigger UX problem that needs to be solved than the mere number of steps.
